Sunny Town - ALOHA

These songs were written during this crazy COVID19 Pandemic time. They are full of love, hope and friendship...and all that good stuff!!!

I wanted to go back to the basics, keeping it lean and live, no tricks, no frills… simple, fun and organic.

The boys in the band, Lopaka (15 yrs.), Konrad (11 yrs.) and Matt (coming up on a year) NAILED IT!!! They jelled in the studio like fish and poi. They are the best players in the state! Although Matt is the newest member and youngest, the guys took to him like a brother and he adds just the right vibe. Cool guys!!!

Gaylord Holomalia did a super job tracking the songs at Island Sound Studios. Daniel Gilad, a young up-coming recording engineer, did a great job of mixing the tracks (he makes a mean hummus too). And the Master himself, Dave Tucciarone (Grammy Award Winning and Multi Hoku Award winning Producer/Engineer), Mastered another Masterpiece. Together they ROCKED this project like the BEST Summer Ever!!! Mahalo!!!

Of course my wife/manager/mother and more, Lezlee, is the mastermind behind the scenes, making everything come together. Crossing all the T’s and dotting all the I’s with a lot of love and a lot of heart work. She is my inspiration...I am truly grateful for all that she does!!! Thank you, I love you!!!

Josh Millar, our Digital Producer, does amazing digital work and treats everything like a piece of art. He takes pride in everything he does and especially makes me look good. He’s our ultimate visual guy. He definitely has the islands inside his heart. Right on bruddah!!!

Operations Manager, Haumea Ho, is rock solid. She Keeps us all in the know “now”. She adds soul to our company in a very humble way. She is our Poi (glue) and she is our coconut connection! Thank you!!!

Theresia Howe, our newest team member is rocking our World. She’s got the knowledge, positive energy and the heart that blends with our style of Aloha service.

I could never be where I am if it weren’t for my team. They are destined to change the music business here in the islands. Oh yeah!!! I appreciate and love them so much.
